I'm an independent developer helping small and medium-sized businesses build websites, improve their online presence, and streamline everyday work with practical tools. No technical brief needed to get started.
I've worked primarily with Australian organisations and am now taking on clients across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, from my base in Surabaya, Indonesia.

About
A bit about me
Voon Ken Ren is my full name, but you can call me Ken.
For several years I was the only tech and IT person at a not-for-profit, supporting about 200 staff. I did the whole job myself: working out what people needed, planning the project, building it, rolling it out and training users to use it. Now I do the same for small businesses. You deal with one person, from the first conversation to the day you and your team is using the end product.
You don't need a tech brief before we talk. Tell me what's getting in the way, and we'll work out what's worth building.
I spent my secondary school years and the early part of my university education in the UK, before moving to Australia to finish my degrees and begin my professional career. After years of studying and working in English-speaking environments, writing naturally for international customers comes pretty naturally to me.
